Every September, Pender Harbour comes alive with Jazz music during its three-day Jazz festival in Madeira Park. Featuring a host of musicians and events, festival goers can enjoy great music while being surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the Sunshine Coast.

At what has become an annual event in Madeira Park, the April Tools Wooden Boat Challenge features teams building a boat in three hours and then racing it around a short course in the harbour. The event is fun for the whole family with a barbecue, paddle boats, demonstrations on boat building, origami boats and prizes. Held at the Government Dock in Millennium Park.

For over 60 years, Madeira Park has continually hosted a May Day Parade & Fair, making it the oldest in BC. As well as featuring a parade, the spring fair includes competitions and vendors for the whole family. Held in the centre of town.
